Who am I? What is the purpose of this newsletter?
Hi, I am the Islamic Investor. I have been active in the stock market both personally and professionally for over half a decade. I have a first class degree in Mathematics with Business Management and have completed industry-recognised professional exams. I am based in the UK, a practicing Muslim and a British Pakistani.
It is critical that everyone learns about investing and I believe the stock market is the vehicle which, despite being the most accessible and suitable to the widest of audiences, is underutilised (particularly by people from a similar background to myself) and still seems to be the most misunderstood.
With this newsletter I’ll aim to target both beginners (to give them the confidence to start investing in stocks/shares/equities, whatever you want to call it!), students/young professionals interested in a career in investing, to those with more stock market experience to bounce ideas off and engage in some good discussions and debates.
Why subscribe?
The truth is, investing is a personal journey and thus no amount of reading (watching Tik Toks!) will suffice. You need a philosophy and process, access to curated news flow and ongoing updates. That is what I can offer on this platform.
Please support the newsletter by hitting the subscribe button and sharing with anyone you think will benefit. The more subscribers we can get the more content I can provide.
There is a free and paid subscription service. Paid subscribers will get additional content, such as portfolio reviews, specific research requests and access to changes I make in real-time to my own personal portfolio.
If you have any questions, feel free to ping me an email on theislamicinvestor1@gmail.com.
